The objective of this course was to provide  the basic knowledge of MRI Safety to all medical profession that work in MRI environment. The course was organised by Department of Radiology, Faculty of Medicine and Healths Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM)  in collaboration with the Department of Radiology, UPM Teaching Hospital. There was 150 participants attended in this course, They were among  radiographers, nurses, assistant medical officers, medical officers, radiologists, science officers, physicist environmental healths officers, and researcher.  The topics were presented by speakers in their respective fields from Universiti Putra Malaysia, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, University Malaya Medical Centre , and Philips.  An exhibition of special MRI safe equipments  were also held by several companies throughout the program. Participants have given positive comments and though that MRI Safety course should be held with ‘hands-on’ activities every year to provide the latest information that can be practiced MRI Saftey calture by medical profession around the world.
